A capital raiser left a workshop and built an outreach system that booked 20+ investor meetings
The best workshop outcome is what attendees build after you leave. A capital raiser launching a credit fund took the AI bootcamp, went home, and built his own investor-outreach system over a database of more than 3,000 investors. It has generated more than twenty investor meetings.
The problem
A capital raiser preparing a credit fund launch had a database of over 3,000 potential investors and the standard math problem: researching each contact well enough to write a credible personal note took ten to fifteen minutes, and the fund needed meetings now, not after a year of manual research.
What we built
- This one he built himself, which is the point. The bootcamp taught the working patterns: how to make AI research a person properly, how to structure a contact database AI can work against, how to turn research into outreach that does not read like a mail merge.
- His system researches each investor automatically and drafts the personalized outreach, cutting per-contact preparation from ten to fifteen minutes to nearly nothing.
- Document-heavy fund workflows that took an hour of reading now process in about ten minutes.
- The workshop model this validates: teach the operator to fish. Attendees who build their own systems maintain and extend them long after the workshop ends.
